Grant Green – Grant’s First Stand | Wie wir längst wissen, war das nicht der erste Versuch von Blue Note, ein Album von Grant Green aufzunehmen – aber er war das erste, das 1961 erschien. Aufgenommen wurde es zwei Tage vor „Face to Face“ bei Van Gelder. Enthalten sind drei Green-Originals, eins von Willette, sowie „Lullaby of the Leaves“ und „Tain’t Nobody’s Biz-ness if I Do“.
