WELLER HAS GEM OF A GUITARIST
OASIS guitarist GEM ARCHER is set to team up with PAUL WELLER on the Modfather’s first-ever acoustic tour of America later this month.
With Gem and drummer Steve White, Paul Weller will play 13 dates, starting in LA and finishing in New York. Also planned along the way are two nights at the Chicago House of Blues and a performance on the Late Show With David Letterman.
Weller will then go on to play a string of European acoustic dates in November.
Meanwhile, it has been announced Weller is adding an extra date to his UK full-band tour later this year, playing a one-off date at London Shepherds Bush Empire on December 16 in support of the homeless charity Shelter.
