Ich hab die alle – lohnt!

Es läuft auch was mit Quinichette und noch einem Tenor „The Chase Is On“, Charlie Rouse ist der zweite Mann:

Das ist echt gut. Der Kontrast ist noch grösser als mit Coltrane, die Rhyhtmusgruppe ist exzellent (Wynton Kelly, Wendell Marshall und ebenfalls Ed Thigpen, auf zwei der acht Tracks Hank Jones und Freddie Green statt Kelly), das ganze wirkt ähnlich spontan, ist ebenfalls eher freundschaftlich als kämpferisch … aufgenommen im August/September 1957 für Bethelehm in New York.
