Nochmal Kenny Garrett, ein Jahrzehnt später mit Shedrick Mitchell (p, org), Nat Reeves (b), Chris Dave (d) sowie auf einem Track Mulgrew Miller (p) und Jeff Watts (d), auf dreien Marcus Miller (elb) und auf zwei von ihnen Pat Metheny (g), Bashiri Johnson (perc) ist manchmal auch dabei, und von einem Mitchell-Stück abgesehen hat Garrett alles Material selbst beigesteuert.

Gewidmet ist das Album Kenny Kirkland, der fast auf den Tag genau vor 22 Jahren gestorben ist.
