auf der Suche nach Informationen ueber Nancy, die das Cover gestaltet hat, stiess ich auf diese schoene Notiz aus der New York Times von 12 Juli 1970, man war scheinbar kurzzeitig aus Japan zurueckgekommen… Ich liebe es, wie der Artikel es vermeidet laut auszusprechen, dass irgendwas an dieser Hochzeit nicht hundertprozentig respektabel war.
UPPER MONTCLAIR, N.J., July 11—Miss Nancy Jeanne Stephenson Brown and Gary George Peacock were married at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Leslie Brown, here this afternoon in a ceremony they wrote themselves. The officiating minister was the Rev. Theodore L. Tucker, executive director of the African department of the Division of Overseas Ministries of the National Council of Churches in New York. The service included a selection of Renaissance songs played on the recorder. The bride, a former student at the Putney (Vt.) School, has been working at the Institute for Children’s Life, a clinic for research and treatment of autistic and retarded children in Tokyo. Her father is a securities specialist. Mr. Peacock, a musician and composer, is with CBS Sony Records in Tokyo. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Walmer Peacock of Seattle. His father, who is retired, was in real estate. His previous marriage ended in divorce.
