Interessantes Posting heute via Facebook von Laurie Pepper :

Back in 1968, Allen Eager was out here in LA staying with some friends of mine. Who threw him out after he stole their car and took it to Mexico. Anyway, he came back, and I ran into him at Schwab’s where I hoped to find someone who’d buy me a meal. Allen had just come from the doctor, and he had pneumonia. He begged me to let him sleep on my couch. I made him chicken soup. He took antibiotics. He got better. Then, he heard his friend Miles Davis was in town, so he borrowed my camera and met Miles at a boxing gym. He took some pictures. He returned my camera with the film in it. I told him he’d have to find another place to stay. That night he stole my rent money, called a cab, and disappeared. I have a few badly exposed photos of Miles. I spent about an hour today trying to make this one viewable.

P.S

Und auf die Frage wie sie ihre Miete bezahlt hat :

Tried to kill myself, failed, borrowed from a relative. It was not long after this I went into Synanon. Rent free!
