Blue Note gruppierte die drei Davis Sessions (im 10″-Format „Young Man with a Horn“, „Vol. 2“ und „Vol. 3″) 1955/56 auf zwei 12“-LPs um, «C.T.A.» landete dann auf Volume 1

Die frühen CD-Reissues übernahmen diese Gruppierung, für die RVG-Ausgaben wurden die erste 10-Scheibe «Young Man with a Horn» und «Vol. 3» kombiniert, während «Vol. 2» separat erschein – mit Alternate Takes von fünf der sieben Stücke, die aber alle schon davor veröffentlicht worden waren).
