Ganz prima, klasse Ensemblesound, schön harter Drumsound von Ben Dixon, Grant Green in toller Form.
Super Album, in der Tat! Vielleicht insgesamt mein liebstes Orgeljazz-Album überhaupt! Die Konkurrenz ist ja nicht klein, aber das Ding ist super tight, Fred Jackson für sowas perfekt, das Willette-Green-Dixon Trio wohl noch eine Spur toller als Patton-Green-Dixon (von denen es ja wesentlich mehr gibt, auf dem Patton-Debut ist neben Fred Jackson auch noch Harold Vick dabei, auch er für Orgeljazz eine perfekte Wahl, sein Leader-Album auf BN ist auch mit Patton und Green … man kann da also noch weiterhören, so die Reissue-Situation oder das Budget erlauben).
