Erinnert mich an meinen Besuch in einem „Legal“ Restaurant in Boston. Der Service an der Bar hat mich ausgefragt und natürlich mitbekommen, woher ich bin und daß ich gerade mein erstes Gumbo bestellt hatte. Für ihn Grund genug, den anderen zu erzählen, daß der Kerl „from Germany“ extra hergekommen ist, um bei ihm ein Gumbo zu essen.
Du isst Gumbo in Boston? Interessant. Wie Schweinsbraten mit Knödel und Kraut in Flensburg.
