Oben die Mosaic-Box (3 LP bzw. 2 CD) mit den kompletten Piano-Solo-Aufnahmen von Ammons (der nur bei der ersten Session 1939 dabei war) und Lewis (der im Herbst 1940, im April 1941 und im August 1944 weitere Aufnahmen für Blue Note machte). Unten die CD, auf der Blue Note 1992 fast die gesamte Ammons/Lewis-Session vom 6. Januar 1939 wieder veröffentlichte.

Neben Albert Ammons und Meade Lux Lewis nahm Blue Note – auch nur ein einziges Mal – noch einen dritten Boogie Woogie-Pianisten auf, Pete Johnson. Die drei, Ammons, Johnson und Lewis, traten regelmässig in unterschiedlichen Duo- oder auch als Trio gemeinsam auf.
