Ich habe das Gefühl, dass „Game of Thrones“ teilweise genauso genüsslich kritisiert wird, wie es vorher gelobt wurde.

Und das ist natürlich auch Quark, dass jetzt plötzlich speziell in der 8. Staffel die Kritik so heftig einsetzt. Es stimmt, dass die Serie an Komplexität verloren hat, seit George R. R. Martins Bücher nicht mehr zur Verfügung stehen (und der hat gerade wieder bestätigt, dass der 6. Band definitiv noch nicht fertig ist und er den 7. noch gar nicht begonnen habe – keine gute Nachricht). Aber zumindest viele Kommentare zum oben verlinkten Guardian Artikel bestätigen meine eigene Meinung, dass die Entwicklung von Daenerys erwartbar war.

Ein Leserkommentar bringt das ganz gut auf den Punkt:
