Die beste Ausgabe ist das 3-CD-Set mit Monks Prestige-Aufnahmen … klingt super, hat ein gutes Booklet und ist alles drin (die LPs „Monk Trio“, „Monk“, die Aufnahmen mit Rollins, die auf zwei LPs verteilt wurden, und die grossartige Session von Monk mit Miles und Milt Jackson … und als Bonus auch noch das Plattenstudio-Debut von Monk, einige Jahre davor, als Begleiter von Coleman Hawkins.
