Ich kam irgendwann zu dem Punkt (und da bin ich immer noch), wo ich dachte: Scheiss drauf! Es ist Sonny Rollins, er spielt so toll wie eh und je, und er hat als Instrumentalist tatsächlich die Statur von Louis Armstrong (als einziger, denke ich), ganz egal, was um ihn herum läuft … und die Leute, die ihn begleiten, sind ja nicht schlecht, der Groove passt in der Regel ganz gut.
