Der Master Take von „Riff Primitif“ erschien erstmals 1983 auf dem Japanischen 3-LP-Set „The Other Side of Blue Note 1500 Series“ (das Set enthielt einen weiteren Nichols-Track, „Argumentative Variations“, der später als Nichols’ Original „Trio“ identifiziert werden konnte). Der Alternate Take erschien zuerst auf der oben schon abgebildeten Mosaic-Box (1987).
