„You’re never alone with a schizophrenic“ ist auch für mich mit Abstand sein bestes Album (****1/2). Ich würde es sogar allen „Mott“-Alben vorziehen. Ansonsten mag ich noch sein Debüt-Album aus 1975. Alles andere von seinen Solosachen hat mich nicht sonderlich beeindruckt. Ich kenne aber auch nicht alle Alben, sondern vielleicht noch 3 – 4 weitere. Ach ja, sein Live-Album „Welcome to the club“ finde ich auch gut.
