gypsy-tail-wind aber der Titel ist von einer Nummer der Gillespie Big Band übernommen und daher etwas seltsam … auf das Projekt gespannt bin ich auch – und hoffe sehr, dass der so gewiefte Komponist Shorter etwas mehr Tiefe bieten kann als Kamasi Washington
vielleicht weniger bombastische pseudosubstanz als vielmehr kunstvolle, rätselhafte leerstellen. ich freue mich ja vor allem auf die graphic novel.
btw – diese bemerkung von chilly jay chill hat mir vor jahren mal einen völlig neuen zugang zu shorter verschafft:
