Cool und lasziv kommt sie daher – Anita Lane, die ihrem Partner Nick Cave 1980 nach Großbritannien folgte als Mitglied der Boys Next Door, die dann dort zur Birthday Party wurden. 1993 das erste Soloalbum, 2001 mit „Sex o’Clock“ das zweite, auf dem sie sich sehr häufig im Sprechgesang zeigt. „Like Caesar needs a Brutus” scheint ein Coversong zu sein – Simon Bonney, ein australischer Country-Rock-Musiker ist wohl der Urheber.
