Roman Flügel – Fatty Folders (2011)
Roman Flügel, der Frankfurter Electronica-Tausendsassa, hätte hier schon längst einen eigenen Thread verdient. Ich kenne inzwischen einiges von ihm, teils sehr unterschiedliche Sachen, aber meist gut bis sehr gut. Fatty Folders ist eins seiner vielfältigsten Alben, klingt fast wie ein Mixtape. Hard Wax beschreibt das so: „Crafty album on the edge of 2011 stripped down House & 1970s Krautrock/Italo Disco-esque electronic music.“ Und auch das Cover ist großartig!
