„They were supposed to be having a fun afternoon out, watching the singer from their favourite teenage band tear through some classics, and instead they found themselves being subjected to Bad Moz and His Suspect Politics.“ Großartig. Von einem Morrissey-Gig würde ich natürlich auch nichts anderes erwarten als ganz viel Spaß und Feierlaune. Und afternoon ist relativ, ne? Gut, kurz nach 12 ist Nachmittag, trotzdem ja relativ früher Nachmittag. Von einem Showcase zum neuen Album erwartet man Klassiker? Aha. (Dabei haben sie ja sogar „Speedway“ gespielt.) Und politisch waren die Smiths ja nie. Wie überraschend, dass Politik plötzlich Thema ist.
