Wie hört sich sowas denn an? Die Superlative des Titels, der personelle Gemischtwarenladen und das lieblose cover lösen bei mir abschätzige Vorurteile aus.
Schon klar, aber gänzlich unangebracht. Gemischt sind die Line-ups nur insofern als es manchmal einfach nur Burrell mit Rhythmusgruppe gibt, und dass Ernie Andrews nur da und dort mitsingt … ansonsten IST das auf dem Cover die Band, und sie ist klasse!
Thx für die Klarstellung! Ich mag sowohl Ellington als auch Burrell. Nach Adam Riese müsste ich das Album dann doppelt mögen.
