I also loved Little Richard, Roy Orbison and Fats Domino. I’d listen to all that under my covers at night. There was a station coming out of New Jersey which used to play all that stuff. I didn’t want my parents to hear me listenting to this, so I’d be under there with a flashlight listening to all this great shit.“
