Arthur Blythe – Exhale | Von 2002 und wie es scheint tatsächlich sein letztes Album? Die Tuba von Bob Stewart wird durch die Anwesenheit von John Hicks in eine konventionellere Bass-Rolle gedrückt als mir lieb ist, aber Hicks ist ja auch nicht übel und das klappt doch ganz gut und Stewart kriegt natürlich auch seine Soli. Am Schlagzeug sitzt Cecil Brooks III, über den ja der Savant-Deal zustande kam (ist Savant dasselbe wie Highnote? Joe Fields ist auch so einer, der wohl einige Stories zu erzählen hätte …)
