Vom ersten Eindruck her gehe ich mit @soulpope einig, „Illusions“ ist wirklich grossartig, kann man nahezu neben „Lenox Avenue Breakdown“ stellen. „In the Tradition“ finde ich – mit der Gnade des Zuspätkommenden wohl – nicht ganz so schlecht bzw. wohl etwas besser als soulpope, das vierte Album reiht sich dann irgendwo dazwischen ein, bietet auch wieder ein paar sehr tolle Momente.
Jetzt noch „Special Edition“ von DeJohnette – noch viel zu selten gehört, aber natürlich toll!
