Was macht man auf seiner Soloplatte, wenn man mit seiner Stimme die Band so prägt? Guy Garvey experimentiert mit wuseligen Rhythmen, auffälligerer Instrumentalisierung – und verzettelt sich dabei. Das Ergebnis ist zwar lebendiger als die Outtake-Platte „Dead in the Boot“, wirkt aber genauso beliebig zusammengestellt. Es wird klar, dass Craig Potter neben Garvey ein großes Gewicht im kreativen Prozess haben muss.
