WerbungJa war halt auf die Dame des Hauses abgestimmt.:liebe_2: Allerdings ist Bluberry Hill ja der Klassiker von Fats Domino und nicht Chuck Berry. Mein CD Spieler im Computerzimmer ist defekt, macht aber eigentlich nichts, dadurch kommen die alten Tapes mal wieder zum Einsatz. Teilweise mit viel Liebe von Bekannten oder auch mir selbst zusammengestellt. Ein paar Tapes sind sogar eine Art Vermächtnis weil der Freund der sie aufnahm schon lange Tod ist.
Das folgende Tape habe ich im März 1987, ebenfalls meiner Frau aufgenommen, TDK SA90 Type II:

Hank muss sein. Wenns mit Hank nicht klappt, klappts auch mit uns nicht. Emmylou habe ich weniger bedenken und der Song ist GROSS. Und Skeeter ist definitiv über der Cheesygrenze. Ist darum auch am Schluss versteckt. Ich glaub sie muss schmunzeln wenn sies hört.
Und Boys in the Hood hatte ich auch mal drauf. Aber hab gemerkt, dass ich die Version echt mager finde. Ist mir irgendwie zu SugarRay.

Find ich nicht. Da ist soviel Leichtigkeit und Charme in ihrer Interpretation, ich kann daran nichts „cheesy“ finden.

Im Ernst, ich mag TMBG seit ich „Hideaway folk family“ bei Klaus Walters „Der Ball ist rund“ auf HR3 hörte, muss so gut 20 Jahre her sein.
