mir fiel gerade ein, woran mich der vibe von songs wie „taxi cab“ oder „run“ erinnert; nämlich an „happy time“, „wayfaring stranger“ oder „chase the blues away“ von tim buckley…. seine „happy sad“/“blue afternoon“-phase (end-’60er)… wahrscheinlich liegt’s (in erster linie) am conga-sound. aber hey, warum muss immer paul simon als (potentielle) inspirationsquelle/vergleich herangezgen werden?
