Clauatom, kannst Du bitte kurz etwas zu diesen Ausgaben sagen? Mich würde interessieren, ob sie remastered sind und ob diese den Originalausgaben vorzuziehen sind. Oder macht es keinen Unterschied?
Es handelt sich – wie immer bei Classic Records – um großartige Reissues. Man bekommt sie in 150gr oder 200gr.
Auf der Classic Records Homepage erfährt man folgendes über das Mastering zu „My Generation“:

That’s right, this is not mono cut on a stereo head with the resulting crosstalk (read added ambient information) – it is the real deal just like it was cut in 1965 from the Shel Talmy (producer) original (not copies) MONO master tapes. Artwork and labels are meticulously recreated from a Mint original copy of the impossibly rare UK Brunswick LP – which now sells for over $1500. On eBay. Whether you were alive in 1965 or not you need this record in your collection, that is, unless you are into Lionel Richie, in which case you should save your money because you won’t get it anyway. The first release from arguably the World’s best Rock band – still! Buy it or piss off you wankers.
