pipe-bowl„Painkiller“ war noch „Turbo“ und „Ram it down“ ein Schritt in eine etwas bessere Richtung, auch wenn das Album an einige der älteren Werke von „Stained class“ bis hin zu „Defenders of the faith“ qualitativ längst nicht mehr herankam.
Das ist aber nur die halbe Wahrheit. Stained Class ist für mich nur Mittelmaß und Point Of Entry ein Totalausfall. Painkiller ist Heavy Metal pur, ihr letztes wirklich großes Album.
