Klasse Album. Um Längen besser als WARPAINT. Genaueres zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt.

Vinyl ist geordert. Habe die Tage einige Tracks im Radio gehört. Vor allem auf die 2. LP bin ich gespannt. „Shine Along“ gefiel mir auf’s erste Hören besonders gut.

Auch sonst ein Klasse Album, mindestens genauso gut wie Warpaint.

„I ain’t hiding“ betritt wirklich gekonnt dieses Terrain, wobei der Refrain aber dann wieder Crowes Pur ist. Insgesamt hinterlässt das Album einen überzeugenden ersten Eindruck.

eine himmlische platte!! so dürfen die black crowes gerne weitermachen!!
wie ist denn momentan das medien-echo? bin gespannt, ob ihre musik und ihr eingeschlagene weg heutzutage nur von ein paar fereaks „verstanden“ wird. habe bislang nur einen verriss im rock hard und eine lobpreisung im rocks entdeckt….eine tour wäre jetzt ganz nett :sonne:

Yep, kam sofort in den Sinn. Wobei ich bei dem Crowes Track eher ein ironisches Augenzwinkern dort höre, wo ich bei Jagger ein schielen auf die Charts vermute ;-).

Zweiter Durchlauf. Das definitive Werk ist hier sicherlich die Doppel-LP und nicht die eine CD + Download. Die Titel auf der 1. LP entsprechend auch nicht der CD und die 2. LP nicht dem Download. Es ist alles gemischt. Der frühe Eindruck ist ein sehr guter. **** mit Tendenz nach oben…
