Sehr ambitioniertes Werk, dem am Ende etwas die Luft ausgeht. Jackie ist mit sehr viel Herzblut dabei, was man der beiliegenden Erklärung entnehmen kann.

Gutes Album. Liegt in meinem Leven-Ranking hinter „Defending ancient springs“ gleichauf mit „Fairy tales for hard men“ und „Night lilies“. Und Du hast Recht, grandandt. Gegen Ende zieht es sich mitunter.

Und natürlich ist Jackie Leven ein genialer Storyteller, dessen Live-Auftritte für mich bisher immer ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis waren.
