Nachdem die Threads für „Fresh Cream“ und „Disraeli gears“ bereits eröffnet sind und „Goodbye“ eher nicht den Stellenwert hat, fehlt noch dieses wesentliche Doppel-Album der Band im Song-TÜV:

Toad **** (vorausgesetzt man steht auf ausgedehnte Drum-Soli)

insgesamt vergebe ich ****1/2 für dieses Halb-Studio-Halb-Live-Werk, damit auf Augenhöhe mit „Fresh Cream“ hinter ihrem besten Werk „Disraeli Gears“. Drei expressive Solisten verschmolzen noch einmal zu einer Synthese aus Blues, Rock und Pop.

Gesamt: ****

Enthält mit „White Room“, „Deserted Cities Of The Heart“ und „Spoonful“ einige ihrer besten Aufnahmen, als Album finde ich es insgesamt aber etwas durchwachsen.
„Disraeli Gears“ ist auch mein Lieblingsalbum von Cream.
