Wie mein Vorgänger schon richtig analysiert hat flacht die Sache auf der zweiten Seite etwas ab. Zum Schluss legt das Album aber wieder ein bisschen zu. Dazu noch das großartige Cover. :bier:

Fazit: Mit diesem Album hatte ich die Band damals kennen gelernt. Fand immer, dass sie quasi die besseren Bright Eyes waren. Folklastiger Rock mit Country-Anleihen und ein wenig Pop-Pathos. Dieses Album ist zusammen mit The Stand Ins der Höhepunkt der Band. Leider konnten sie mich irgendwie nie dauerhaft voll überzeugen. Die beiden Live-Auftritte, die ich von denen sah, waren aber wirklich super. Sehr energetisch und ein wenig chaotisch. ****
