so, hab das Album, welches bei mir im Erscheinungjahr 1992 wirklich sehr häufig lief, heute nochmal wieder aufgelegt. Del Amitri-Alben kann ich auch heute noch in bestimmten Stimmungen wunderbar hören. „Change everything“ bleibt für mich das beste, weil auch in der Songqualität ausgeglichenste Album der Band, wobei der absolute Übersong fehlt. Den finde ich auf der „Waking hours“ mit „Nothing ever happens“.

Mein „erstes Mal“ hier im RS Forum und ich fang gleich mal mit der „Besternung“ meines seit über 15 Jahren ungeschlagenen All Time Favorites an

Damals von einem Mit-Azubi auf Cassette überspielt bekommen (laaang ist´s her) – in der Bahn auf dem Weg nach Hause gehört (ca. 15 min. Fahrtzeit), zu Hause Umweg über die Innenstadt und Change Everything + Waking Hours gekauft … der Beginn einer bis heute dauernden „Liebe“. Ich hoffe auf ein neues Album… irgendwann….

Bei mir ist es auch laaang her – nämlich dass ich diese Scheibe gehört habe. Irgendwie kommt es mir komisch vor, dass „Just Like A Man“ bei allen hier so (vergleichsweise) schlecht abschneidet. Aus meiner Erinnerung heraus war das eines der Highlights. Ich muss sie mir wohl mal wieder anhören…..
