    Newman kann mit wenigen Zeilen mehr sagen als viele Andere auf einem ganzen Album. Vom musikalischen Aspekt gefällt mir „Land of Dreams“ zwar besser, aber textlich ist Newman hier absolut auf dem Höhepunkt.
    Bemerkenswert, wie „Political Science“ auch heute noch den Nagel auf den Kopf trifft, 36 Jahre nachdem es geschrieben wurde.

    Wahrscheinlich alles 5…nee, „Dayton, Ohio 1903“ **** 1/2. Für mich das makelloseste Album überhaupt, da rechnerisch bei mir am nähsten an der *****-Durchschnittsnote.
    „Memo To My Son“ ist mein Lieblingslied von Randy.

    Bemerkenswert, wie „Political Science“ auch heute noch den Nagel auf den Kopf trifft, 36 Jahre nachdem es geschrieben wurde.

    Recht so. Und das auf beängstigend prophetische Weise.
