Habe den damals 1993 im Kino geschaut und war so fasziniert davon. Ich war 12 Jahre alt und kannte mich sehr gute mit Dinosauriern aus. Der längste Dinoname ist mir noch in Erinnerung geblieben:

Nichts geht hier über „Raiders Of The Lost Ark“. Einer der drei besten Filme aller Zeiten. Für mich jedenfalls.

A.I. hat mich leider überhaupt nicht erreicht. Mit Indy 4 habe ich mich nach nochmaliger Sichtung versöhnt. Das Alien-Thema finde ich für die Zeitepoche doch recht passend gewählt, wenn auch in seiner Beschränkung auf die letzten Filmminuten nur unzureichend auserzählt. Auch der oft kritisierte LaBeouf fügt sich ganz gut in das Indy-Universum ein. Richtige Schwächen zeigt der Film eindeutig in der Wahl der laschen Antagonisten und den unglaublich schlecht inszenierten Dschungelszenen.

Eines haben zumindest AI und Indy gemeinsam. Die Aliens haben es versaut :lol: Mich hat AI sehr berührt und er hat eigentlich das perfekte Ende tief unten am Meeresgrund. Ein Ende, das genau den richtigen Ton trifft. Tja, wären da nicht die noch folgenden rangeklatschten letzten 20 Minuten. Fast noch schlimmer ist da eigentlich nur noch War of the Worlds. Im Kino war der ganze Saal am gröhlen.
