Whatever – these are outstanding musical efforts:

      1. Rush – Moving Pictures
      2. Fischer Z – Red Skies over Paradise
      3. Billy Joel – Songs in the Attic (Live)
      4. Foreigner – IV
      5. Mink DeVille – Coup de Grâce
      6. Rick Springfield – Working Class Dog
      7. BAP – Für usszeschnigge!
      8. Iron Maiden – Killers
      9. Extrabreit – Welch ein Land! Was für Männer!
      10. Billy Squier – Don’t Say No

      Also worth the while:

      Phil Collins – Face Value
      Rickie Lee Jones – Pirates
Ideal – Der Ernst des Lebens
The J. Geils Band – Freeze Frame
      Journey – Escape
Judas Priest – Point of Entry
      Udo Lindenberg – Udopia
The Police – Ghost in the Machine
      Saga – Worlds Apart
Helen Schneider – With the Kick
      Toto – Turn Back
The Tubes – The Completion Backward Principle
UFO – The Wild, The Willing & the Innocent

      1. BAP – Für Usszeschnigge
      2. Mink DeVille – Coup de Grace
      3. Rolling Stones – Tattoo You
      4. Billy Joel – Songs in the Attic
      5. Tom Petty – Hard Promises
      6. Foreigner – 4
      7. Westernhagen – Stinker
      8. Motörhead – No Sleep ‚Til Hammersmith

Mehr habe ich aus 1981 nicht. Vielleicht das schlechteste Musikjahr der letzten 40 Jahre.
