Nun, mal gerade geschaut: 12 Songs können wir hier teilen (Stand März 2009). Schön, dass „The Baby“ so hoch platziert ist.„The Baby“ war damals einer der ersten Hollies Songs, die mir ins Ohr gingen.
Trotz oder vielleicht auch wegen der ungewohnten Stimme von Mikael Rickfors. Ich hatte die Glanzzeit der Hollies (in den 60´s) ja nicht mehr miterlebt. Musste ich mir dann nach und nach erschliessen. Höre sie auch heute noch sehr gerne.--

Mein erstes Lied, das ich von ihnen hörte und liebte war damals „Dear Eloise“. 1968 ein TOP10 Hit in Deutschland.--

1. Ja, leider war diese großartige Single nicht von großem Erfolg gekrönt (nur #13 im Uk; US -). 2. Geschichte waren sie bald danach noch nicht. Es ging schon noch einige Jahre (Long cool woman, The air) …
