yes, allemal, bin mir jedoch noch nicht schlüssig, ob mir die etwas üppigere Instrumentierung (für Callahan-Verhältnisse sind manche Songs fast schon schmissig zu nennen) jetzt mehr zusagt als das Spartanische, dass frühere Alben so kennzeichnete. Qualitativ wohl nur marginale Unterschiede (Callahan bleibt letzlich doch Callahan). Würde wohl im Moment noch „The doctor came at dawn“ und „Red apple falls“ leicht vorziehen.

Genau das ist es. So sieht es bei mir auch aus: Mal habe ich mehr Lust auf eine gewisse Fülle, etwas mehr eben als skizzenhafte Songs – da höre ich dann Supper. Und in anderen Momenten gibt es dann nichts Größeres als Julius Casear.
