pipe-bowlBei Skynyrd muss man den richtigen Spirit dieser Band einfangen. Das funktioniert am besten auf ihrem grandiosen Live-Album „One more from the road“. Ronnie van Zandt sagte damals auf die Frage, warum er immer barfuß auftrat: „We’re a Live-Band. I love to feel the stage burn.“ Ihr mitunter reaktionäres Redneck-Gehabe macht es nicht immer einfach.
Das mit dem Redneck-Gehabe habe ich damals gar nicht so registriert. Aber irgendwie hat mich die Musik nie so recht gepackt. Weiß auch nicht.

Weder die Nummer, noch die Stimme ist hier besonders ungewöhnlich. Da gibt es sicher mehr zu entdecken für Dich.
Erst vor ein paar Wochen habe ich gut 20 gebrannte CDs von ihm ausgemustert… :roll:
