Das Artwork ist schon mal so verlockend, dass man wohl das Box-Set braucht.

Hmm, verdammt, ist bei mir sogar bei allen Links der Fall. Aus Newslettern in Form von Mails rauskopieren klappt also nicht so gut.

Ich pflegs von Hand alles neu ein, aber das dauert etwas.

Done. Der Clip ist allerdings schon gesperrt und einen Ersatz finde ich momentan noch nicht.

Ich glaube fast ich brauche das Boxset und das normale Vinyl, das Tracklisting in der Box sieht komisch aus, teilweise nur 1 Track pro Seite.

Hmm. Ja. Neugierig bin ich jetzt auch. Ein ganzes Album in dem Sound würde ich nicht begrüßen. Als Single ist es ganz witzig. Ist ja nicht so, als hätten sie sowas nicht schon mal ansatzweise gemacht (Your Cover’s Blown).

Habe mir „Nobody´s Empire“ und „Party Line“ bei i-tunes runtergeladen.
„Party Line“ goes Disco, und „Nobody´s Empire“ ist wieder typisch Belle & Sebastian. Hammer Song !
Ewig nur Folk Pop spielen wird halt auch irgendwann langweilig. Fand das letzte Studio-Album bis auf ein paar Ausnahmen doch eher langweilig. Bei „Your Cover´s Blown“ dachte ich damals wow, ein Album in dem Stil wäre auch mal nicht schlecht.
Wenn man sämtliche CD´s der Band im Schrank stehen hat, und bei jedem neuem Album was erscheint ungefähr schon weiss was einen erwartet, wird es auch irgendwann langweilig. Und wie es aussieht schlagen sie mit „Girls in Peacetime… wohl zum Teil eine etwas andere Richtung an, wenn man die Vorberichte liest. Aber sicher immer noch typisch Belle & Sebastian. Ich jedenfalls freue mich schon riesig drauf.
