ich versuche auch paar Beispiele beizusteuern, aber : ob wir hier Alleinunterhalter bleiben ?
Leider lassen sich die Beispiele fototechnisch nur schwer realisieren, ich versuche es trotzdem (drückt mir alle Daumen !)

genauso ist auch meine Beobachtung. Mit Ausnahme (Anfang 1970, nur bei UK Erstpressung) :

Anfangs gab es nur :
(1) Side one : porky

später sind mir bekannt :
(2) Side one : A Porky prime Cut
(2) Side two : peckie
alle Platten mit diesen Angaben aufzuführen würde den Rahmen sprengen …
Beispiel zu (1) : Deep Purple : Made in Japan (neben UK-1st auf auf D-1st zu finden)
Beispiel zu (2) : Jethro Tull : Aqualung, ’73 Reeissue mit CHR-1044 Bestellnummer

Ähnliches findest Du auf fast allen Platten weltweit, nur meist nicht so einen Slogan wie „A porky prime cut“. Aber jedes Studio hat seine eigenen Kennzeichen. Man erkennt daran wo eine Überspielung gemacht wurde und meist auch, ob es sich um eine Erstüberspielung oder eine spätere handelt.

Ich kenne z.B. „AT“ bei Atlantic Pressungen, mehr nicht …

viele sammeln Schallplatten; ich nur !!!In Deutschland gibt es z.B. SNB = Studio Nord Bremen, oder PL steht für Pauler Akustik (Northeim). Die großen Firmen haben natürlich ihre eigenen Überspielstudios. Da wird dann tatsächlich nur ein Kürzel des Firmennamens verwendet. Manchmal setzt der jeweilige Techniker sein eigenes Kürzel neben die Bestell- bzw. Matritzennummer, die natürlich auch eingraviert wird.
