.Das zweite (bzw. letzte der Blue Notes) habe ich gerade zum ersten Mal gehört … na ja, gehört halt in die Schublade mit „A New Perspective“ (das in meiner Gunst mit den Jahren allerdings recht gewachsen ist), aber „Brown Sugar“ gefällt mir inzwischen gut (und ich habe es noch nicht sehr oft gehört, die SHM-CD aus Japan gerade zum ersten Mal). Zwei fehlen mir immer noch, besonders das Debut hätte ich gerne mal. Das eine spätere auf Prestige muss ich allerdings nicht auf CD haben.

Ach so, Highlight von „All That’s Good“ ist natürlich der Closer, Kenny Burrells „Loie“ (bekannt von Ike Quebecs „Soul Samba“). Aber gestern lief dann gleich nochmal „Brown Sugar“, da die Nacht ja eh nur knapp drei Stunden dauert bei der Hitze … und heute morgen, es hat zwar endlich – und heftig – gewittert, aber es war schon um 7 wieder drückend heiss, daher:
