danke für den Tip, ich habe mal im Netz reingehört. Klappt bei mir irgendwie nicht, ich glaube das Problem ist das fehlen jeglichen Rhythmus Instruments, nur Bläser sind mir zu anstengend, bei einem Saxofon geht es noch, aber hier nicht.

Es gibt wenigstens Live-Mitschnitte vom WSQ mit Rhythmusgruppe (b/d), aber ob es das auch auf Platte/CD gibt, weiss ich nicht – kenne ihr Werk längst nicht umfassend, aber gerade die Ellington-Scheibe finde ich wirklich grossartig. Hat aber bei mir auch eine Weile gedauert, bis ich mit dem Sax-Quartett-Sound klarkam (obwohl ich schon als Teenager damit begann, selbst Saxophon zu spielen – allerdings nie im Quartett).

gypsy tail windEs gibt wenigstens Live-Mitschnitte vom WSQ mit Rhythmusgruppe (b/d), aber ob es das auch auf Platte/CD gibt, weiss ich nicht – kenne ihr Werk längst nicht umfassend, aber gerade die Ellington-Scheibe finde ich wirklich grossartig.
