Ansosten sind zu hören: Bob Neloms (p – war mal kurz bei Mingus), Richard Davis (b – needs no introdcution) und Dannie Richmond (d – war mal kurz nicht bei Mingus), zudem auf ein zwei der sieben Stücke James Spaulding (as), Janice Robinson (tb) und Jonathan Dorn (tuba), ein Stück gehört ganz Ford, ein Feature über „My Romance“ mit der Rhythmusgruppe.

Beener taucht neben Richmond übrigens auch auf dieser Ricky Ford 1978er Muse Scheibe auf …. und Ricky Ford ist ja ein besonderes Schatzerl in unserem Haus ….. (IMO) vollkommen zu Unrecht vom Glorienschein verschmäht ….

danke für den Hinweis – nur als LP greifbar nehme ich an? Ich hätte natürlich gerne was mit Boorks aus den Sechzigern, aber das Umfeld, in dem die beiden sich bewegten, lag wohl weit unterhalb der Wahrnehmungsschwelle von irgendwelchen Radio-Sendern

gypsy tail winddanke für den Hinweis – nur als LP greifbar nehme ich an? Ich hätte natürlich gerne was mit Boorks aus den Sechzigern, aber das Umfeld, in dem die beiden sich bewegten, lag wohl weit unterhalb der Wahrnehmungsschwelle von irgendwelchen Radio-Sendern
