Nochmal aus der Box, die erste (oben) bzw. vierte CD (die fünfte, grands motets von Rameau unter Niquet, kenne ich schon, lasse ich heute mal weg), Motetten von Henry Du Mont mit Howard Cook, Hervé Lamy, Peter Harvey, den Pages & Chantres de la Chapelle, der Maîtrise du Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles und dem Ensemble Musica Aeterna aus Bratislava unter Olivier Schneebeli, sowie chants et motets pour la Royale Maison de Saint-Louis von Nicolas Clérambault mit den Demoiselles de Saint-Cyr, begleitet von Sylvie Moquet (basse de viole) und Emmanuel Mandrin (org/dir).

Klassik ist das nicht … aber egal – Lieder von Rodgers/Hart, Arlen, Berlin, den Gershwins, Traditionals etc, gespielt vom Sirba Octet, das aus ein paar Streichern (inklusive Kontrabass), Klarinette, Piano und Cimbalon besteht, dazu stösst die Sängerin Isabelle Georges.

Diese CD lag seit wohl einem Jahr im Warenkorb … grad ist sie gekommen und in den Player – das Keller Quartett mit Alexei Lubimov am Klavier spielt Schnittkes Klavierquintett, gefolgt von Shostakovichs letztem, dem 15. Streichquartett (das ich seit bald zwanzig Jahren nicht gehört habe – Aufnahmen sind zwar da, aber … mein Mantra: das alles braucht viel, viel Zeit, und zudem seine Zeit).

Vorhin am TV Verdis Requiem aus der Scala unter Barenboim, mit den Solisten Anja Harteros, Elina Garanca, Jonas Kaufmann und René Pape – auch auf CD oder DVD greifbar, aber das muss dann wohl doch nicht sein (die Aufnahmen, die sich hier eher zufällig angesammelt haben, habe ich noch nicht angehört – ein moströses Ding jedenfalls).
