Oha, das Neue schlechter als alle andren. Allmählich bekomme ich Angst (die LP ist noch auf dem Weg aus den USA). Vor allem da wir in der Wertung (lediglich Platz 1 und 2 tauschen) sehr konform gehen.

Ich wünsche Dir, dass Du in dem Album das findest, was anderen gelungen ist. Lass mal hören. Bin sehr gespannt auf Dein Urteil. Wobei Rang 6 und 7 auch gerade noch ****-er sind und „Mockingbird time“ an dem vierten Stern gekratzt hat. Es ist ja beileibe kein völlig mißlungenes Album.

Wie schätzt du es denn im Vergleich zu „Ready For The Flood“ ein?

Ich will Deine Angstzustände nicht noch verstärken, aber mir persönlich gefällt „Ready for the flood“ besser. Und wenn wir schon bei Vergleichen sind: Auch das Louris-Soloalbum „Vagabonds“ höre ich besser. Und auch Bandmitglied Tim O’Reagan mit seinem selbstbetitelten Solowerk aus 2006 rangiert vor dem neuen Jayhawks-Album. Aber lass Dich nicht weiter beunruhigen. :lol:
