die fields of gold finde ich fantastisch, ****1/2, aber als ich vor kurzem das erste „richtige“ album von sting hörte, nämlich brand new day, musste ich nur gähnen; **1/2.

Bring on the night (live) ist Klasse, aber auch ziemlich Obergrenze an Jazz den ich am Stück ertragen kann (sorry – bin da halt manchmal Banause). Irgendwie ist der gute Sting mir zu kopflastig, weshalb mich die späteren Alben auch nicht mehr interessierten.
