Die Spitze lag also enger zusammen und verlief flacher.

Insgesamt habe ich etwas weniger gehört – nach etwa 2.000 Alben 2010/09/08 kam ich 2011 auf gut 1.800. Das liegt zum einen daran, dass ich bewusster mit Musik umgegangen bin, was sich auch in weniger Neuanschaffungen ausdrückt, aber auch an verstärktem Probe- und Einzeltrackhören im Netz, das einen Teil des Zeitbudgets beansprucht.

Wie war die Entwicklung bei Dir? Spezielle Frage: Sind alle Singles, die Du listest, physisch als Vinyl in Deinem Besitz, oder hast Du auch Downloads?

Sommer… Singles sind kürzer und lassen sich in der selben Zeit häufiger auflegen als Alben…

Wenn zumindest das nächste Album erfolgreich wird, kann sich das noch ändern.

SokratesDie sind in England auch deutlich erfolgreicher als in Deutschland – obwohl beispielsweise der Focus (ausgerechnet! Warum? Wieso?) eine Akustiksession mit ihnen produziert hat (Es gab also Anstalten, die Band zu promoten) – hier. Der Song beginnt nach etwa 2:25.

Vielleicht ist die akustische Version von The Captain, die in dem Zusammenhang entstand, ein guter Einstieg. Der Song war die Leadsingle aus dem letzten Album Only Revolutions, mit dem sie auch für den Mercury nominiert waren. So bin ich auf sie aufmerksam geworden. Danach kannst Du Dir ja mal anschauen, was sie live vor großem Publikum daraus machen. In der Studioversion bitte auf die sich rhythmisch überlagernden (Keyboard-)Bläser im Mittelteil und die Coda achten – geniales, extrem schlüssiges Arrangement. Und das alles in 3:15. Hut ab.
