Film fehlt mir noch, ansonsten Zustimmung! B&S muss ich nochmal komplett hören (sobald ich damit aufhöre If You’re Feeling Sinsister doppelt und dreifach nachzukaufen), aber die Bewertung wird wohl ähnlich ausfallen wie deine.

Them's fightin' words.Am meisten verblüfft mich, dass Du „Fold Your Hands“ vor „Tigermilk“ und „Waitress“ hörst, Napo. „Fold Your Hands“ beginnt sehr stark, aber „Nice Day“ ist selbst für liebliche Belle & Sebastian-Verhältnisse zu soft und unverbindlich.

„Nice Day For A Sulk“ ist eine Petitesse, stört mich aber genausowenig wie „Chickfactor“ auf „The Boy With The Arab Strap“.

I'm making jokes for single digits now.„Fold your hands child, you walk like a peasant“ ist m.E. eines der unterschätztesten Alben überhaupt. Ich höre fast nur herausragende Tracks (von „The wrong girl“ mal abgesehn), mit „Woman’s realm“, „The chalet lines“ und „I fought in a war“ zudem drei essentielle B&S Classics.
