Oh, jetzt erst gesehen, danke. Nach einem sporadischen Reinhören (habe mich dieses Jahr so gut wie gar nicht mehr mit Techno-Singles beschäftigt) musste ich mich aber das eine oder andere Mal schütteln. Vor allem bei DJ Koze, bei dem es für mich unerklärlich ist, weshalb er 1. mittlerweile so einen recht belanglosen House produziert und 2. damit einen ersten Platz erklimmt. Schön allerdings, Move D einmal solo und einmal zusammen mit Benjamin Brunn in der Liste zu entdecken. Move D wirkt für mich im Gegensatz zu DJ Koze nach all den Jahren noch immer sehr frisch in seinen Produktionen.

„Honey“ kenne ich – der Track gefällt mir, er ist sehr gut aufgebaut. Ein bißchen erinnert er mich an Isolée.
Die Liste von Resident Advisor enthält ein paar gute Dubstep-Tracks („Death is not final“); mehr kann ich dazu nicht sagen. Ich habe mich letztes Jahr gar nicht mit House und Techno befasst.

2008 ist das Jahr, in dem House endgültig mit Bongos, Congas und was es sonst so an Afro-Latin-Percussion gibt, versöhnt wird. Minimal-House entdeckt sein tribalistisches Herz und alle machen mit. Groove ist nach wie vor neben Funktionalismus alles. Die Rhein-Main-Region zwischen Frankfurt, Heidelberg und Mannheim ist das Epizentrum dieses polyrhythmischen House-Sounds, der von dort bis in die entlegensten Dancefloor-Winkel schwappt.
